It is time...

Yes, it is time.
There is still some stuff in the basement.
And most importantly, for the 44 page views I got from Russia last month.

Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, the blog is back.

At least for this mock draft below.

I have not done extensive research for the draft, but it seems like it doesn't matter this year.  Luke Joeckel will likely be the first pick (miss you already Andy), but after that it seems like a complete toss-up.

What will the Eagles do?  To quote Lex Luger, "I don't knowwwwwwwwwwwww."

They will probably pick one of these guys, in my order of preference (now that I said that, they definitely won't take any of them):

Eric Fisher - If everything goes perfectly, the o-line could already be fine.  But this is the Eagles.  It won't. I am an advocate of a early o-lineman.
Star Lotulelei - Yes, sign me up, but seems like 4 might be too high for him right now.
Dion Jordan - Seems like they have an abundance of rush linebackers now, but not as good as he could be. Still, not a sure thing.
Lane Johnson - Same as Fisher, but a ginger.
Dee Milliner - If they trade down a few picks, absolutely.
Sharrif Floyd - Eh, what does he do differently from Fletcher Cox?
Geno Smith - Think he's been called overrated so much he's almost underrated at this point.  Still wouldn't take him at 4.

Regardless, they absolutely cannot miss on this pick.  Sure, taking the occasional 28-year-old Canadian fireman with the 23rd overall pick is one thing, but messing up the 4th pick is inexcusable.
That's why I would like Fisher or Star to be the pick.  Maybe they won't be flashy, but I don't see them busting either.

Onto the mock draft (hopefully copy and paste from the ESPN draft generator works because I don't feel like typing it all -  update- nope it didn't):

  1. Solid picks. I would make one small change and reverse the entire list.
